Trump is a racist and bully.

Denial is a character trait of racists.

Last night, the President of the United States told a militia of extremists to ’stand-by.’ By this morning they were tattooing the command on their forearms.

The moment was the whole debate. The digital domain is flooded in tweets and blogs discussing all sorts of issues from last night. None of them carry the import of Trump’s call to arms.

In democracy elections are sacred ground. Pissing on that sacred ground is a violation of principle. Trump did worse.

The Proud Boys are White Supremacists. They’ll deny it. Of course, they will. Just like Trump, a man who once called for the lynching of five black teenagers. You can go all the way back through American history and find examples of out and out racists saying they’re not racist. I believe they believe it true. But I also believe they don’t believe in racism. It’s easy enough to deny something you believe doesn’t exist.

When asked if he believed in systematic racism Trump never answered the question. Of course, he didn’t.

Trump’s plan is to bully his way to the presidency. No surprise. The Republican Party platform is bullying. McConnell, Jordan, Graham, Gaetz, bullying is their game. Forget ideas. Forget debate. Just do what we say.

Almost funny. A key character trait of Americans is belligerence. We don’t do ’Obey’ all that well.

I think Trump flushed his presidency down the drain. Took the entire GOP with him.
