Majority politics is dead to GOP.
Outnumbered GOP has no interest in democracy.
It used to be the idea. Come up with policies and convince a majority of Americans you are right. Then win elections and go to work.
But to an elite class of billionaires it became obvious what benefits their class will never benefit most Americans. They simply checked out of American government.
They began an agressive campign to install minority rule.
How aggressive?

This whole effort is done with as much stealth as possible. Trump is a godsend. His wildfire incompetence has thrown up so much smoke, the fifth column of the Disgruntled Billionaire Brigade operates at will, eating away at the institutions of democracy and enshrining minorty rule and stashing loot in a vault buried deep beneath the public consciousness.
If you poke and prod these platinum-livered folks, they’ll wave a flag in your face and Cry Freedom! But what do they mean by ‘freedom?
They mean freedom to take you for every dollar possible. They mean free, unrestrained capitalism. They mean freedom from any repsonsibilty to contribute in any way to society.
Freedom to Exploit, Flourish, Maneuver, Hoarde.
Those are the 4 Freedoms of Private Economy.
Who needs bridges when you have private jets? Who needs healthcare when you have private hospitals? Who needs regulations when you have air filters? Who needs democracy when you have jails and police and army dedicated to protecting your Hamptons home?
