It’s 2038, many years after the end, and the world still struggles with the disaster of his reign. It wasn’t the end itself that troubled us; it was the ‘why’ we had even gotten to such a point. A 20th Century moment in the harrowing 21st Century.

We have bigger problems on our hands now, but still, that confused and fatal era lingers. And the fear it might happen again. Could it? In a world where every breath of our toxic air is a precious gift? Could something as odd happen again?

I doubt it and the reason I do is the bizarre and unique reasons he left White House at 2 AM, never to be seen in public again. These turns in his tale were so shocking, even the master of spin had no words, but sulked away to his Florida resort.

We all know about his disappearance three years later. He never returned from a day trip to the everglades, and whether his mysterious demise was foul play or an unfortunate encounter with an alligator is to this day unknown.
