Nancy Pelosi led to the steps of the Capitol and executed. Kamala Harris lynched from the scaffolding erected for her Inauguration. Mike Pence dragged into the Rotunda, pronounced guilty of a betrayal of Trump, and shot.

We came close. So close.

Betrayal in the ranks of the police. The National Guard ordered to stay in their barracks. Members of Congress in secret meetings to plan an assault on the Capitol.

The president’s sons inciting riots. The former mayor of New York calling for combat. The president telling a crowd he’ll lead them north to the Capitol.

Senators fist-pumping, encouraging a seething and armed crowd. Congressmen spewing frothy lies. Propaganda networks cranked full-bore with disinformation.

This is insurrection. This is the first shot in a war.

I cried as watched our most sacred institution defiled, raped, pissed on by clowns, freaks, thug militia, fake patriots, un-American criminals carrying the despicable flag of failed rebellion.

Idiocracy arrives. A painted fool in a pair of horns on the podium where Lincoln spoke. A white supremest with his feet up on the Speaker’s desk saying this is his house. A spittle-flecked rant from an addled beard in a red hat parroting back Trump lies like a programmed troll-bot.
